POSITION SUMMARY
This role reports to the Senior Manager of Pricing Governance and Analytics and works extensively with the Financial Modeling & Analysis, Underwriting, and Financial Planning & Analysis teams. You will be responsible for performing analyses on Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) underwritten data and determining the financial impact of pricing tool projections. In addition,
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain essential model assumptions and conduct actual-to-expected analysis to support underwriting accuracy.
Identify trends in underwriting financial performance projections in relation to client actual performance.
Analyze historical data and market conditions against pricing assumptions.
Assess risk of pricing strategies and develop informed recommendations for model improvement.
Consistently deliver high quality work products amidst time constraints and competing priorities.
Perform Ad-hoc projects including detailed analysis and ability to articulate findings that meet internal customer requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent work experience.
2+ years professional work experience within actuarial roles
Successfully completed at least four SOA examinations.
Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Drive to develop business and actuarial skills through ongoing training and varied rotations.
Proficient in SQL and MS Office.
Experience with Tableau and Alteryx preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 79,400 - 132,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
