The Hourly Rate for this temporary position is $50.00 per hour.

This position is a Temporary position that is not benefits-eligible.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of the Yoga Instructor Position for the Health Center at Auraria is to provide Yoga instruction for the Healthy Pursuits Program. The Healthy Pursuits Program is typically coordinated during Fall and Spring semester with occasional offerings during Summer semester and at additional times throughout the year. All Yoga Instructors are required to hold a certificate in Yoga Instruction, can lead students through a cohesive Yoga class while cueing correct form. Teaching safe Yoga classes at the appropriate level is required and if applicable use appropriate music.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Lead Yoga classes according to the assigned schedule
• Maintain a current Yoga certification
• Teach safe, effective exercises to a variety of populations
• Adhere to employee standards of conduct
• Complete all required staff training
• Record all hours accurately

Required Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a RYT-200 Certification
• Have at least 1 year of experience leading a Yoga class
