SUMMARY
Location: Jellystone Park of Western New York
Position Type: Non-Management, Seasonal
The starting pay rate for this position is $14.20-$15.00 per hour.
As our Activities Coordinator, you will create, plan, and coordinate a variety of activities for the resort.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
This is a seasonal position anticipated to start April 24th, 2023 and end October 9th, 2023
Job Requirements:
- Help maintain a tracking sheet to monitor attendance, vendor utilization, income, and expenses for each activity
- Purchase supplied to successfully carry out activities and group events
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition
- Help with and organize fundraising activities to support the department
- Maintain accurate office ad activity supply inventories
- Set up and clean up after events
- Assist with producing a calendar of events for the next calendar season, while staying withing budget expectations
- Create, plan, coordinate, and attend all activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, and dinners
- Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
- Ensure a high standard of activities, services, and products are being offered
- Assist with preparing the weekly newsletter and distribute to resort guests
- Assist with ensuring all invoices are paid in a timely manner while documenting all payments
Job Qualifications:
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
- Ability to negotiate prices/contracts on behalf of the resort
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work events during non-business hours

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
