Overview An Activities Technician is responsible for providing recreational activities for patients in a healthcare setting. They plan, organize, and implement activities that are designed to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of the patients. They also provide support to the patients and their families, and help them to adjust to their new environment. Detailed Job Description An Activities Technician is responsible for providing recreational activities for patients in a healthcare setting. They plan, organize, and implement activities that are designed to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of the patients. They also provide support to the patients and their families, and help them to adjust to their new environment. Activities Technicians must be knowledgeable about the different types of activities that are available, and be able to tailor them to the individual needs of the patients. They must also be able to assess the needs of the patients and develop activities that are appropriate for them. Job Skills Required• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in recreational activities
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass a background check
