Accounting Manager Jobs

Major functions:

• Maintain all general accounting functions for the Division.

• Assure SOX compliance and oversee adherence to Internal Controls for the Division.

• Supervise Shared Services accounting and entries (e.g. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions)

• Manage a Team of 3 (2 Accounting Analysts and a Biller)

• Maintain availability to support CFO, Division President, and Sector, Group and Corporate Financial Management to respond to ad hoc requests rapidly.

• Identify and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency.

Technical/Functional skills:

• Experience with Deltek Costpoint 7.

• Familiarity with Government Accounting, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

• Supervisory experience in accounts, payable, general ledger, accounts receivable, payroll and financial reporting.

• Exposure to Hyperion/HFM.

• Willingness to Learn

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Education/Experience/Licenses etc.:

• Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting: Master’s Degree and CPA highly preferred.

• 10+ years relevant financial experience required, including Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash forecasting, variance analyses, and compliance with SOX controls.
