Position Description-accounting Manager

You will be the primary accounting owner for the trial balance in your capacity as accounting manager. You will be in charge of overseeing the accounting and analysis of the trial balance, which includes the accounting for payroll/purchased services, internal manufacturing and toller, customer invoicing and remittance, procurement to pay, intercompany, purchase, and other accounting related to the trial balance. Establishing a process for account analysis and managing it will be your responsibility. The director of finances will be your boss. This position is a hybrid.

Important Responsibilities-ACCOUNTING MANAGER

• In charge of keeping journals and overseeing the approval procedure.
• Serve as the internal and external auditors' liaison.
• Encourage standardized, effective procedures in all aspects of general accounting.
• Ensure that all additional job-specific financial procedures are created, implemented, and followed in order to create a strong business control environment and ensure that internal financial and operating controls adhere to company policy.
• Serve as an IT liaison to ensure that financial systems are operating correctly to fulfill business demands and adhere to policy.
• In charge of overseeing the reporting and monthly closing operations.
• In charge of monthly entries and tax analysis.

Qualifications-ACCOUNTING MANAGER

• Possessing leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities as well as the autonomy and limited supervision needed to autonomously define priorities.
• You must function well in a group setting.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field plus at least seven years of relevant work experience.
• You must be creative and able to see the potential impacts of changes made to accounting procedures.
• The capacity to adhere to deadlines is essential.
• Microsoft Office product competency and strong PC abilities are prerequisites.
