Job Description
Are you an experienced Accounting Clerk looking for a 3+ month contract role with a prestigious healthcare company in Phoenix, AZ? Do you want the chance to advance your career by joining a rapidly growing company? If you answered “yes" to any of these questions – this is the position for you!
Responsibilities for the Accounting Clerk position:
  • Prepare basic financial data and reports
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries and issues
  • Enter information from documents into computer systems
  • Maintain records of financial transactions
  • Review data for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify, code and post details of business transactions
  • Sort, research, and compile documents substantiating business transactions
  • Reconcile and balance basic accounts
  • Safeguard company assets and protect health information
Requirements for this position:
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and 10-key
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ year of accounting experience (healthcare accounting experience a bonus)
  • Ability to use multiple computer systems at a time & comfortable answering phone calls

Hours for the Accounting Clerk position:
  • Monday to Friday, daytime hours
Compensation for this position:
  • $22 per hour
