We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Associate with a great attitude and public accounting experience to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview: As an Accounting Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reporting. You will work closely with the team, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, and collaborate with other cross-functional teams to support our overall financial operations. This position requires strong accounting skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards, including revenue recognition, expense classification, and financial statement presentation.
• Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and reviewing financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to multiple platforms.
• Participate in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Support external audit activities, liaising with auditors and providing requested documentation and information.
• Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and GAAP.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and regulations.
• Prior experience in the tech industry and familiarity with publicly traded company is a plus.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
