Are you a visionary and creative leader with a track record of delighting clients and driving team success? If you have 7 + years of experience in strategic communications, media, digital and paid media, coalition, and or community engagement, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking an Account Supervisor to join our dynamic team and take Elevate to the next level!
As an Account Supervisor at Elevate, you will be at the forefront of our client engagements, leading teams to achieve success from high-level strategy development, scheduling, problem solving to executing magic with media, influencer, and social media.
Responsibilities:
- Manage successfully through periods of change or challenge.
- Develop excellent working relationships with clients.
- Lead and execute both large and small events and press conferences.
- Understand the financial aspects of supporting a client account including managing to client budget.
- Play an active role in the business development process including presenting to potential clients.
- Manage projects with confidence amid crisis situations or periods of change.
- Research and gain expertise in various industries to anticipate client needs and advise clients on trends and current events.
- Effectively pitch to reporters or speak to reporters on background on complicated or sensitive topics.
- Effectively be the point of contact for clients and drive the day-to-day workflow.
- Effectively develop strategies to achieve client objectives and develop and drive deliverables.
- Work closely and respectfully with internal client delivery teams, including creative, digital, and content.
- Generate strong messaging for press releases, fact sheets, backgrounder, pitches, Q&A, briefs, company memorandums, and other general team correspondence.
- Manage public relations strategy and programs from kick-off through achieving goals.
- Serve as a key member of multiple client teams to craft effective communication strategies.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of communications experience and understanding of California media market Management experience in leading teams along with a love of coaching and training junior team members.
- A fierce commitment to, and respect for, a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Track record of pitching to reporters and securing media placement.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills, including the ability to write concisely, clearly, and logically.
- Experience in measuring the ROI of communications activities.
- A respectful, enthusiastic, and professional attitude towards coworkers, clients, and outside colleagues and lead team by example.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Exceptional client management skills and deep personal investment in client success; agency experience preferred.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations articulately, intelligently, and professionally.
- A strong grasp and creative use of social media channels to engage and support initiatives and drive outcomes.
- Skillful with MS products and comfortable with learning and adapting to new technology platforms.
- Takes pride in successfully leading an internal or client project by inspiring and motivating team members.
Compensation for the role is between $85,000 - $108,000 annually. The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
