Job Description

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity with high growth potential. The Meals Account Manager is responsible for achieving key sales objectives through the management of existing Meals accounts, aggressively growing new accounts, and facilitating the growth and the development of Kerry’s Taste and Nutrition portfolio in the Eastern and Mid-Western market regions. The portfolio is diverse including taste, seasonings, dairy, stocks & broths, smoke, etc.. Creativity, value proposition selling, and excellent customer management skills are needed to continue, support, and grow existing platforms and identify new customer categories where value-added products can be created.


Key responsibilities

  • Regularly inform leadership of changing market dynamics and other factors influencing accounts of strategic importance
  • Collaborate with technology business internal leaders for an integrated Go-to-Market (GTM) approach
  • Prospect and “close” new business opportunities through standard product, custom products, and integrated solution selling
  • Regularly document activities in Salesforce and maintain an up-to-date “pipeline” of qualified opportunities
  • Perform account planning and key account research to optimize efforts and account penetration
  • Manage and communicate with internal cross functional teams to support customer opportunities and orders
  • Manage complex pricing models aligned with Key Customers expectations
  • Needs to be located in Mid-West or Eastern area where the accounts are located in the U.S.
  • Develops and maintains targeted high-level relationships and contacts with the account(s)
  • Ensures margin growth year on year and in line with the account plan and budget requirements

  • Undergraduate degree from accredited college or university required; Graduate degree preferred
