Account Executive Assistant - Fashion Pr

Berri Goldfarb Public Relations (BGPR) is looking to add a new team member to join our Fashion & Celebrity Placement PR team. This job requires prior fashion PR internship experience. Promising candidates will be prolific writers ready to begin a career in the industry. The candidate will have outstanding attention to detail, organization skills, the ability to multi-task, a passion for the fashion PR industry, and fluency in social media platforms. We are looking for someone who is creative and a proactive go-getter looking to join a positive and collaborative team.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop and update status reports
• Actively monitor media for placements
• Develop and execute celebrity seeding opportunities for clients
• Demonstrate a positive, self- motivating attitude while managing time efficiently
• Complete client, stylist and editor requests that are value producing within a timely manner
• Research and present opportunities for increasing product visibility amongst core demographic, style influencers, media and celebrities
• Ability to assist on managing several accounts
• Research and pitch ideas to target media
• Exhibit strong communication and seasoned writing skills
• Act as the main contact for client communication
• Be detail oriented and able to multitask in a well-organized manner
• Develop and distribute press releases on behalf of clients to secure press for VIP placements
• Secure press coverage and product placement in key media outlets

Requirements

• Strong writing skills.
• At least six months of prior public relations internship experience in the lifestyle and/or fashion field.
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strategic and out-of-the-box thinker.
