Job Description

IntePros is seeking an Accessibility Program Manager for a Global Telecommunications Corporation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that ensure our organization's products, services, and facilities are accessible to individuals with disabilities. You will lead efforts to create and maintain an inclusive and accessible environment for all stakeholders, including employees, customers, and visitors. You will work closely with various teams across the organization to promote accessibility and ensure that we comply with relevant laws and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies related to accessibility and disability rights
  • Monitor and report on accessibility performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement accessibility policies and standards that meet or exceed legal requirements and industry best practices
  • Conduct accessibility audits and assessments to identify and address accessibility barriers in our facilities, products, and services
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure that our organization is in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • Train employees on accessibility requirements and best practices, including disability awareness and sensitivity
  • Develop and manage relationships with external organizations and stakeholders to advance accessibility initiatives
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure that products and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in accessibility, disability rights, or related fields
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accessibility laws and regulations, including the ADA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
