Job Summary

Ensures programs are envisioned, crafted, developed, and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs. Interfaces with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is crafted to meet business needs. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience as a full-stack Java developer with expertise in deploying and handling applications on cloud (PCF, AWS), supervising post deployment matrix and working closely with operation support and business counterpart.

About the team

We are Comcast Enterprise Supply Chain Engineering teams works across Comcast Supply Chain operations such as Xfinity Mobile, Retail, CPE, SIK, Comcast Business, Materials, Fiber Optics distribution and constructions team. We are looking to hire a highly motivated full stack java developer for an exciting and growth filled opportunity within the Supply Chain team that is working on redefining how Comcast takes care of inventory, logistics, efficiency, and user experience while also integrating with various systems across the enterprise.

Strong hands-on experience with Java Spring boot framework, Oracle SQL/PL*SQL, NoSQL DB and other DevOps technology. Coordinating with multi-functional teams and researching the latest developments in technology applicable to the enterprise. Supply Chain validated experience is plus.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule.
  • Monitors current and future trends, technology and information that will positively affect interpersonal projects; applies and integrates emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as vital.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Presents solutions to senior architects.
  • Mentors team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture.
  • Plans and crafts new or upgraded systems. Interacts with departments to implement improvements in process.
  • Develops solution architecture (both tactical and strategic) to fully handle/support enterprise needs, services, systems and technology management.
  • Tracks and documents requirements for enterprise development projects and improvements.
  • Ensures programs are envisioned, crafted, developed, and implemented across the enterprise to meet business needs. Works with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is crafted to meet business needs.
  • Develops, documents and ensures compliance with standard methodologies including but not limited to the following coding standards, object-oriented designs, platform and framework specific design concerns and human interface guidelines.

Bachelor's Degree
