Sawyer | Berson Architecture & Landscape Architecture, LLP, an AD100, New York-based design firm seeks a highly motivated and skilled 3D Modeler/Renderer for high-end residential projects. Our work includes private residences, gardens, terraces, and commercial and institutional projects throughout the United States and internationally.

Ideal candidates must be adept in all aspects of rendering residential design, including interiors and landscapes. As a firm focused on design, potential candidates will interact with design teams and Partners to continually develop a design through all project phases.

Requirements:

The position entails 3D modeling-and-rendering, 2D rendering, preparing presentation drawings for submissions, physical modeling-making, landscape design, interior design, and architectural design.

·Actively model alongside the Partners and project managers in real time using Rhino 6 and Lumion.

·Generate models from hand-drawn sketches, 2D plans, elevations, and photographs.

• Take direction and show initiative in problem-solving without losing sight of product quality.

·Have good design instincts, resourcefulness, and drive to solve multiple-scale design issues.

·Be comfortable working in mixed media—digital and analog.

·Possess a healthy interest in both traditional and modern residential work.

·Generate virtual and physical models for landscape, topography, and site development.

·Be able to make and advise on techniques for physical models, including laser cutting, 3D printing, etc.

• Ability to work in the US.
• Coordinate with Clients, the Partners, colleagues, and consultants with your excellent communication skills.
• Salary Range 65k - 85k
• On-site five days a week in our Manhattan office
