ArentFox Schiff LLP is accepting applications from second-year law students for its 2024 Summer Associate Program. Candidates may apply to up to 2 offices with a Summer Program. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

The salary for the position is $3,950 a week. Anticipated 10 week program.

Summer associates at ArentFox Schiff quickly discover why our program is unique. They do real work for real clients, and their experience closely resembles the workload of a junior associate.

We want our summer associates to experience a variety of areas of the law and interact with attorneys across the firm. Based on personal interests and workflow, summer associates work on a wide range of assignments with ArentFox Schiff attorneys from around the country. And of course, there’s time for fun too.

Summer associates leave the program with a solid understanding of the opportunities available to them after law school and a great sense of the people they’ll be working with. Our culture, team approach, professional training, and social opportunities are why ArentFox Schiff stands apart.

Hiring Criteria. We look for candidates with varied backgrounds and experiences who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement; a record of leadership and achievement in school, work, and extracurricular and community activities; strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; the ability to work independently and on a team; and the drive to gain experience and succeed in a client service business.

Applicants should have excellent research and writing skills and be committed to working in a large New York law firm following law school graduation. Prior work experience is a plus. Candidates must be attending an ABA-accredited law school in the United States. Please include a cover letter, resume, law school transcript and legal writing sample.
