Provide support to the front line, following guidelines given by management.

Does this position have authority to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices?

Perform advanced knife skills (i.e. roll cut, brunoise, macedoine) in the preparation and production of food items.

Associates degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience required.

Two (2) years of experience in a bar or similar environment

Manage the business finances, overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, inventory management, and cost control to maintain profitability

Four (4) or more years of prior Food and Beverage management experience, preferably in a luxury setting

This position will oversee all FOH venue management

Maintain overall knowledge of the resort and provide proactive assistance to guests when appropriate using clear and concise conversation

Recruit, train, schedule, and manage staff to ensure excellent service and productivity

Actively participating in the hotel management

Manage and provide direction to all bar employees on the floor during shifts and events

Hold staff accountable for giving an Engaging Dynamic Guest Experience to all guests on property

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Promote bar business and continually increase database contacts

Ensure the bar ethos is in line with Mondrian standards are consistently maintained

Ensure and promote compliance with all local liquor, health, and sanitation regulations

Minimum bachelor’s degree or related experience, master’s degree preferred.

Five years industry experience and Sports ETA STS certificate preferred.

Knowledge of workplace processes, methods.

Solid working knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 suite and Internet navigation.

Effective listening and spoken communication skills.

Starting salary of £26,044, increasing to £27,150 after training (there is additional pay-weighting within the M25 and at other selected locations)

Minimum two years bar/lounge management experience

Manages the food and beverage service provided in assigned bar/lounge; coaches employees on effective service techniques

Provides employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities

Strong oral and written communication skills

Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork

Knowledge of local, state and federal liquor laws and regulations

Minimum 5 years management experience in high-volume restaurant
