1. Drive business results and customer value

Distribute briefs, footage and project files to the wider editorial team.

Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors and Producers to proper casting/hiring of editors, colorists or other post vendors.

Improve + Standardize workflow solutions across different projects and teams.

Communicate and resolve technical or personnel issues which may arise and impede active projects and deadlines.

Enforce consistent project organization, archival and QA processes.

Establish Timelines for Projects/Editorial, including Motion Graphics, VFX, and Animation.

Strong experience in project management; developing timelines; and managing budgets

Asset Management: organize and maintain assets on the server/archive. Handle requests internally and externally.

Work with the Creative Producer to manage the post production schedule. Liaise with editors, retouchers, and post houses to meet deadlines.

Budget: manage post production budget. Negotiate pricing; obtain, track and file invoices and payments related to post production.

Expert knowledge of photography, creative retouching, color & sound finishing; understanding of media file types and film deliverables

MacOS experience required. Must have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, Post-production Software (ex. Frame.io), Google Workspace (Sheets/Docs)

User account management (creation, access levels, removal)

Assist in determining new hardware requirements for Production workstations.

Work with Head of Engineering on MAM setup and testing, automated tool scripting, and requirements gathering.

Experience supporting video/audio editing and transcoding software and hardware including Resolve, Transkoder, Cortex, Premiere, Media Encoder, Final Cut, and Compressor.

Knowledge of cloud-based workflows for processing video.

Strong troubleshooting skills with an ability to present fast and creative solutions.

Strong video file organizational skills & understanding of NLE project management workflow.

Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, deadline driven.

Present creative video treatments & edits to internal management; addressing feedback with solution-based creative thinking.

Advanced knowledge of computer programs including: Adobe Premiere Pro, Aftereffects, Davinci Resolve, is a must. Basic Photoshop skills are helpful.

Technical knowledge in film pre-production, post-production, pre-production tools & basic understanding of a professional video editing (log-based) workflow.

Strong knowledge of digital best practices and channel formats (i.e.: Instagram stories vs. infeed).

3+ years of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Experience

American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification, Six Sigma experience, and/or knowledge of Process Excellence tools is preferred

Timely communication of business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level

Maintain knowledge of current global regulations impacting Post Market Surveillance activities

Apply knowledge to develop and optimize processes and suggest improvements as needed and/or required

Oversee the Post-Production Coordinator to ensure the timely delivery of video content to all stakeholders.

Bachelor’s Degree, or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

5 years of experience in post-production

10 years experience as a post production producer or supervisor

Overseeing the design, operation, maintenance, and repair of specialized and/or state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Supervising staff that support Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, edit labs, color grading suites, mixing stages, and sound equipment checkout.

Work with account management, the media team, and creatives to compile a list of deliverables required for each project

Work with the Post Production Supervisor to assign personnel and manage daily assignments of the editorial staff

Some knowledge of post-production and editing workflows a plus

Knowledge of Adobe Premiere workflows a plus

Experience working within budgets and staying on schedule

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Learn current editorial technical skill sets and software platforms

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Should have a desire to continue learning about production and new production-related technologies, and expanding their skill set.

Work closely with Producers in managing their TV, radio, and social video needs

Work closely with Editors, assisting and facilitating their day-to-day projects

Organize footage for use in shell-fills and on our internal edit server

Document procedures and critical information in a comprehensive manner for the benefit of entire technology team

2-5 years of experience in a post-production engineering environment or equivalent experience preferred

Bachelors in Computer Science, or comparable professional experience

Experience with network protocols (layer 2, layer 3), and switching infrastructure

Extensive knowledge of Linux, MacOS and Windows operating systems, desktop, server, and VM environments

3+ years of Post Production/Finishing experience in a fast paced agency setting.

Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Avid Symphony and Pro Tools as well as various workflows. Premiere and After Effects a plus.

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, Keynote and FileMaker.

Extensive knowledge of video codecs, digital file formats, tape-based media.

Experience creating graphic checker documents using Keynote.

Collaborate with clients, producers, and post-production staff in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.

Media management and asset tracking

Very good organizational skills required

1 year of editorial experience preferred and/or studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Film/TV

Technical knowledge of digital video codecs and encoding software.

Assisting with footage transfers for projects

Quality controlling client postings and deliverables

Experience with shared storage and asset management workflows.

Manage shows and keep “experiences” on budget and on schedule.

Minimum of eight years of experience working in post-production.

Deep knowledge of post-production processes including ingest, cataloging/archiving, editing, visual effects, motion graphics, audio, color, and QC.

Experience managing third party vendors to assure seamless handover of required assets and integration of externally and internally created content.

Excellent problem solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
