Packaging Operator Pl3 Jobs

Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in daily warehouse operation of a forklift, valid certification to operate forklifts a plus

Basic English verbal and written skills, bi-lingual a plus

Work Hours: 6pm- 6am rotating days

Operate production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Operate forklift, palletizer, stretch wrapper, packaging equipment, and all other associated production equipment.

Learn and understand the production schedule.

Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform minor maintenance on this equipment.

Demonstrate proficiency as outlined in training requirements for the assigned areas of responsibilities

Recognize and report deviations or potential issues immediately to the management team

Basic math skills to perform required calculations (multiplication/division)

Good written and oral communication skills

Previous pharmaceutical inspection experience preferred

Package products in various configurations, moving product on and off the assembly line

Pay: $29,820.00 - $48,480.00 per year

3-5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing, farming or agriculture environment is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Perform and complete package quality checks and respond to problems, identify and handle off quality products and package supplies.

Interpret tank inventories, valve and pump settings to ensure the correct product is being filled and pumped.

Picking food products and packing in boats, totes and boxes

Working safely is first priority

Operator will perform a pre-shift inspection of packaging line including machines.

Note any defects found during pre-shift/area inspections. Give report to shift lead person.

Write fault reports based on pre-shift/area inspection reports. Give report to shift lead person.

Operate wrapper at both warehouses.

Monitor the packaging line to ensure there are no jams or equipment failure.

Deliver daily objectives determined by plant management.

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Escalate any non-conforming product/equipment/material to the appropriate manager/supervisor immediately.

Become familiar with all machines in assigned area and share responsibilities for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting/repair, cleanliness, and escalation of assigned equipment.

Train/Mentor new employees in the department with direction from the manager/supervisor.
