Some Key Areas Of Responsibilities Include

Responsible for line management and ensuring that guests are notified ahead of time of their options.

Responsible for the preparation of guest service reports, synthesizing customer comments and reporting general servicing issues to management.

Responsible for all customer responses as directed by Ticket Sales Supervisor/Guest Service Manager.

Additional job duties as assigned.

Possess strong verbal skills and is comfortable working with people.

Requires outstanding communication skills and organizational skills.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Have knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed.

Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with Highgate Hotel standards.

Maintain proper operation of the PBX console and ensure that all hotel standards are met (if applicable).

Answer guest inquires about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner.

Maintain knowledge of hotel occupancy status, special events, in-house groups and other situations affecting the reception desk's daily operation.

Presents the keys and offers bell attendant assistance. Explains Hotel services if bell assistance is declined or not available.

Offers a sincere greeting before the guest reaches the desk and ascertains the satisfaction of the guest’s stay.

Book guest accommodations, room, show or restaurant reservations in accordance with current procedures.

We’ll support you in and out of the workplace by offering:

Organize, confirm and process guest check-ins/ check-outs and adapt for any changes

Secure payment, verifying and adjusting billing as needed

Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities and local interests

Run daily reports, reviewing to see what needs to be communicated to the next shift’s staff

Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank at the end of each shift securely
