JOB REQUIREMENTS for Environmental Specialist III

Three (3) years' experience in the field of Environmental Health

Work experience listed must include a month, year, and a verifiable Supervisor or Human Resources phone number.

Experience with the 2017 FDA Food Code and Swimming Pool Code

Experience with mobile vending, temporary events and farmers markets

Current 29 CFR 1910.120 (e) requirements and other certifications a plus, but not required

Knowledge of vegetation management including but not limited to shrubs, trees, fertilizer, etc. using sound horticultural practices

Experience in operation of pesticide applicator, truck, tractors, and utility vehicles

Experience in operation of computer controlled pesticide application equipment

Experience in correctly applying herbicides and pesticides in accordance with the label, as well as proper storage and disposal techniques

Minimum of seven years’ experience in U.S. environmental regulations, permits, and requirements.

Manage complex permitting activities (US Generation, US T&D) and support global permitting activities

Develop and maintain global platform for knowledge sharing, compliance tools, and communication to facilitate environmental compliance and continuous improvement.

Advise in development and implementation of procedures & policies to facilitate compliance with existing and pending environmental standards and requirements.

Initiate or review environmental studies and plans to ensure compliance with environmental requirements, Company standards, goals, and policies.

Minimum of seven years’ recent experience in environmental compliance in a large industrial, processing or manufacturing environment or corporate environmental department.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Basic knowledge of small engines, pumps, and blowers.

Have familiarity with basic computer skills, i.e., e-mail, word processing, and routine database operation.

Previous experience operating equipment such as skid steer, mini-excavator, aerial lifts, pressure washers, etc.

Effectively perform and lead industrial service and emergency response projects, including tank cleanings and facility decontaminations and cleanings.

At end of shift communicates to ES Manager/Supervisors any assignments not completed

Is knowledgeable of equipment used for moving heavy objects and uses it safely.

Is knowledgeable and demonstrates the proper procedure to shower scrub, strip and refinish floors.

Complete daily, isolation and discharge/transfer cleaning of patient areas following Aramark SpaceCare QL cleaning procedures including use of patient interaction terminology.

Complete cleaning and relocating of medical equipment in-patient and outpatient areas following Aramark SpaceCare QL cleaning procedures.

Complete terminal cleaning of LDRP, C-Section and outpatient rooms following Aramark SpaceCare QL cleaning procedures.

Complete scheduled cleaning of non-patient areas following Aramark SpaceCare QL cleaning procedures.

18 Months of additional relevant experience = Associate's degree

36 Months of additional relevant experience = Bachelor's degree

Assists with planning and implementing educational outreach concerning cyanobacteria and cyanotoxin monitoring.
