Discuss itinerary options with clients and suggest destinations, transportation methods and lodging possibilities depending on the clients' interests

Coordinate payment schedules for itinerary packages or other trip components with clients and process authorized payments

Responsible for collaboration, proactive engagement and end-to-end event management for events hosted by assigned key stakeholders, including executive and officer level

Expert people skills, particularly in terms of building confidence, demonstrating creativity and follow-through in an effort to support EPRI Event Experience

Must be self-directed with strong project management.

Good interpersonal and influencing skills; thoughtful, consultative, offers recommendations

Regularly engages cross-functionally to promote Event Experience Team and assess overall effectiveness of the Event Experience Team output

Consistently provide unparalleled customer service with an emphasis on strong communication, the customer experience and meticulous attention to detail

Arrange Travel for businesses, sports teams, vacations, Weddings and more

Determine customer's needs and preferences, such as schedules, costs and payment plans

Plan and arrange tour packages, excursions, and day trips

Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Associate degree (AA) or equivalent for two-year college or technical school; Bachelors degree in Hospitality or equivalent experience preferred.

Solid organization skills and basic project management experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in any of the following: Hospitality Management and or Soft Facilities Management

Responsible for office layout management, accommodate additional workspace for new employees and contractors as needed

Day to day engagement and supervision of external soft facilities management contractors. Supervises vendor performance for Janitorial, Mailroom and Security services.

Follow company procedures regarding Purchase Orders creation, goods received, sourcing, and budget management

B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field

Background in corporate event planning or education in hospitality management

Contribute ideas for stand-out appearances or one-of-a-kind experiences

Plan rolling 12-month event calendar to support lead generation and customer retention

Identify venues, develop budgets, and negotiate costs with vendors

Coordinate all event details, including schedules, speakers, menus, accommodations, supporting materials

Collaborate with marketing team to produce before/during/after event materials

Solid skillset in project management - running event projects from start to finish.

Project management of multiple, concurring events from conception to final review

Communicate updates to and assist with presentations for the company's management team.

Coordinate with Foundation's education, client support, sales, and marketing departments

Manage inventory of marketing materials, promotional items, tradeshow assets and other event collateral

Keep track of event finances, including check requests, invoicing, and reporting.

Excellent oral/written communication skills, and ability to direct multiple projects concurrently and facilitate successful teamwork is essential

Ability to show discretion in handling confidential information

Good understanding of media newsgathering operations

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in event management or related discipline

Proficient with event management software

Manage all aspects of event planning, meet strict deadlines, and stay within budget

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

Experience in marketing or public relations

Basic computer skills: Mac and Microsoft Windows
