Qualification/validation of new test methods, instruments, and computer programs.

Must have a working knowledge of most chromatography and spectroscopy instrumentation, i.e. GC, GC-MS, HPLC, FT-IR, AA, ICP-MS, and UV/Vis.

Must have a working knowledge of wet chemical techniques and standard analytical test methods.

Must have a working knowledge of standard computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Access, and etc.

This position is responsible for executing analytical test requests from a variety of clients, and reporting results.

Prior academic or professional laboratory experience preferred.

Perform independent tests per SOPs, validated/certified methods and quality control procedures.

Accurately perform tests and document calculations and results on forms and in LIMS

PhD degree or equivalent experience in Computational Physics, Computational Chemistry, or a similar field.

3+ years of experience utilizing/developing computational methods for material discovery

Experience with Machine Learning including GNNs for material discovery.

Experience solving analytical problems using analytic and quantitative approaches.

Experience communicating research to audiences with different backgrounds.

· Experience in Analytical Chemistry, and working knowledge on Hazardous Chemicals

· Respond to common inquiries from management and Quality Assurance.
