Supervise graduate assistants managing the Graduate Student Center. Manage employee and event scheduling while being a resource for students.

Initiate and execute new graduate orientation opportunities across the university. Grow experiences in various colleges and on various campuses.

Experience working with Office 365 suite, especially Excel.

Experience working with graduate students.

Strong written, communication, and organizational skills.

2+ years’ supervisory or leadership experience in public, private or charter education and instruction preferred.

Balances team and individual responsibilities; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives

Travel within the Palm Beach County area, is required. Personal and reliable transportation required

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.

Must be able to lift 30 pounds

Work location is in multiple school buildings where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs

Collaborate with the Co-Executive Directors and colleagues to support overall efforts, including project and organizational strategy and management, fundraising, and budgeting.

Build and manage the partner network through convenings and events, as appropriate.

Significant experience working with a range of individuals in nonprofit organizations, government, foundations, and private sectors.

Previous grant-making experience is valued but not necessary.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Build and foster meaningful relationships with current grantees and support them in successful implementation of approved grant programs.

Strong technical/operational skills including word processing, spreadsheet and database management

Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and software used to manage day-to-day business activities such as program management and budgeting

Skilled in project management, budget management, cross-cultural awareness, communication and creative problem solving

Experience supporting public-private partnerships or collaborations comprised of stakeholders from government agencies, nonprofits, community-based organizations and other entities

Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills; collegial, energetic and able to develop productive relationships with colleagues, donors and partners

Manages significant matters such as project development, project-related budgeting and procurement, and auditing/evaluating project performance

Finance, and budget experience strongly preferred

Extensive knowledge and experience in community organizing, movement building, integrated voter engagement, and leadership in the Bay Area region.

Develop strategy and manage the Power Pathways grantmaking portfolio in partnership with the Senior Director of the Power Pathway.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience

Four (4) years of increasingly responsible and experience in the public non-profit and/or philanthropic sector.

Excellent active listening, verbal, and written communications skills.

2+ years’ supervisory or leadership experience in public, private or charter education and instruction preferred.

Master of Science degree in counseling, higher education administration, student development, or another related field.

Direct experience with community sponsorship is a strong asset.

Experience creating monitoring and oversight tools.

7+ Years' experience leading product teams in agile environment

Experience working closely with content teams

Experience working with client facing departments

Hands-on style with exceptional communication skills

Process and manage student travel scholarships to major industry conferences and events, including on-site engagement of students and relevant faculty members
