Responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling, supervising and implementing a broad recreational program for students with diverse socio-economic backgrounds and individual need.

Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand

Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies

Knowledge of or ability to learn position procedures, techniques and equipment.

Able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families and employees.

Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

6 or more years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience Prefer experience with 2 major Epic upgrades or implementations

Ability to conceptualize, plan, organize, coordinate, and manage the work of a major program or function within the department

Ability to handle confrontation with appropriate grace, professionalism, cordiality, and firmness, and manages/resolves disputes appropriately

Ability to develop new skills and teach others

Knowledge of current issues and trends in health care and clinical operations in a health care system

Provide and direct didactic and skills-based competence restoration treatment, including implementing a restoration curriculum and training restoration providers.
