Band material to assure safe handling (forklift) and delivery

Remove door and trim material units and place boards in rack, according to grade and length

Remove defective and/or damaged doors and trim from racks for cut-back

Able to lift 50-80 lbs

Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical. Ability to stand for 8-10+ hour work shifts.

Heavy Lifting. Ability to lift up to 80lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift.

Must have an outgoing, positive, friendly personality to provide excellent customer service.

Assist customers with order pick ups.

Levelling lumber piles and maintaining the yard's cleanliness.

Physical. Ability to stand for 8-10+ hour work shifts.

Heavy Lifting. Ability to lift to 100lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift.

Safely loading building materials into storage facilities.

Stocking all material received in appropriate bins or storage locations.

You have strong customer service skills

You have knowledge of lumber and building materials products (and if not, you are willing to learn!)

Assisting our customers by explaining products, providing information, and answering questions

Maintaining a safe work area for yourself and others

Unloading incoming merchandise and processing receiving paperwork

Pulling product for orders according to order tickets

Assist manager of inventory for ferrous and non-ferrous commodities

Previous knowledge and understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous commodities preferred.

Heavy equipment operator experience required.

Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills

SUPERVISES: Scale Clerk, Heavy Equipment Operator, Buy Room Operator

Lead employees and delegate daily job tasks
