Yard Transport Jobs in Utah

Follows all Dinklage safety policies, procedures, and keeps up to date with safety regulations and requirements.

Maintains and performsrepairs in areas of the feed yard including pen bedding ground, feed allies, bunks,and gates.

Repairs water lines,cleans, and fixes tanks.

Puts out hay and cleansup any loose hay on the ground.

Sets wasp and fly baitwhen needed.

Mows weeds and maintainsgrass areas.

Prior rental experience is a benefit

Excellent customer service skills are a must

Shipping and receiving every item that comes in and out of the yard

Responsible for loading & unloading machinery

Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of this position at any time.

Provides direction and training to less experienced Facilities Maintenance Personnel

Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Must comply with work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested and completing work orders with general direction.

Mixes appropriate chemical(s) (i.e. cleaning, fertilizer, construction compounds) per manufacturer's specifications.

May perform the replacement of minor electrical devices.

YARD CREW | $23.83 /HOUR AVG BASE RATE -

Holidays: 6 paid Holidays a year

Compensation: $21.00 - $23.83/ hour + Safe Driving Bonus/Performance Incentive

Track and record daily tasks.

Track and record Yard Inventory.

Couple departing equipment to respective trailers, then perform a walk-around inspection.

First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:00pm )

Able to repeatedly lift and move 40+ pounds.

Able to sit, stand, kneel, and lift.

Able to work in all weather conditions.

Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment

Individual Development (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Needs to be able to communicate well to receive and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements.
