Yard Worker Jobs

Wheeler Machinery Co. Is seeking to hire a Rental Yard Worker at their Salt Lake City, Utah location. It is required to keep safety first in all tasks while utilizing TRACK/Tyfoom. This will be a full-time benefited position responsible for cleaning and maintaining rental equipment for our customers. Safety is the MAIN PRIORITY of this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for keeping accurate inventory and recording damaged machines.
• Responsible for loading & unloading machinery
• Responsible for staging and performing pre-rental checks.
• Responsible to load / unload sales dept equipment
• Responsible to check in / checkout rental equipment
• Assist rental coordinator with rental contracts
• Responsible for all shipping/ receiving paperwork
• Cleaning machines and maintaining the machine storage areas.
• Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the yard
• Maintain, inventory sales department equipment
• Exceptional customer service
• Other duties as assigned
• Responsible to keep rental equipment clean and in rental-ready condition.
• Shipping and receiving every item that comes in and out of the yard

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a self-starter and accomplish work with minimum supervision
• Must be able to work safely, identify hazards, and assist in corrective activities
• Must be flexible as schedule requires
• Excellent customer service skills are a must
• Good computer skills
• Ability to solve problems and work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior shipping and receiving experience
• Prior rental experience is a benefit
