Wheeler Machinery Co. Is seeking to hire a Rental Yard Worker at their Salt Lake City, Utah location. It is required to keep safety first in all tasks while utilizing TRACK/Tyfoom. This will be a full-time benefited position responsible for cleaning and maintaining rental equipment for our customers. Safety is the MAIN PRIORITY of this position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for keeping accurate inventory and recording damaged machines.
- Responsible for loading & unloading machinery
- Responsible for staging and performing pre-rental checks.
- Responsible to load / unload sales dept equipment
- Responsible to check in / checkout rental equipment
- Assist rental coordinator with rental contracts
- Responsible for all shipping/ receiving paperwork
- Cleaning machines and maintaining the machine storage areas.
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the yard
- Maintain, inventory sales department equipment
- Exceptional customer service
- Other duties as assigned
- Responsible to keep rental equipment clean and in rental-ready condition.
- Shipping and receiving every item that comes in and out of the yard
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a self-starter and accomplish work with minimum supervision
- Must be able to work safely, identify hazards, and assist in corrective activities
- Must be flexible as schedule requires
- Excellent customer service skills are a must
- Good computer skills
- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior shipping and receiving experience
- Prior rental experience is a benefit
