One year of previous retail management experience or one year of employment with Blick

Solve associate issues in partnership with other members of management

Understand and manage the financial well-being of the store using the annual budget and monthly Profit & Loss reports

Direct and oversee the overall operations of all in-store departments of the retail location

Maintain company POGs, display and signage compliance, cleanliness standards, and supply orders

Ensure compliance to all Loss Prevention and Safety measures, Dick Blick Company Policies and Procedures, and operational controls

Assists Store Leadership in Inventory and Merchandising responsibilities:

Knows current processes and procedures and suggests improvements that enhance the customer and/or store experience.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Generally requires 0-2 years related experience.

Serves as an in-store expert for Xfinity Mobile support. Providing in-store post-sales support for device data transfers and phone number ports.

You've led functional teams in a retail management role previously

You can multi-task and have attention to detail; priority-setting and time management are your strong suits.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER - PERIMETER MALL

Must be over the age of 18

Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs.

Proactively coaches and develops Store team to perform their responsibilities at a high level.

Ensures all customer facing technology is functional to optimize sales opportunities, Store, and employee experiences.

Works closely with the Store Manager to ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient scheduling.

Leverages available tools to monitor customer feedback, coach, and take action to improve the store experience.

Builds collaborative relationships with market and region stakeholders including the Operations Manager.

2+ years retail experience with an established track record of exceeding and/or achieving sales and service results.

Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve goals and objectives and to increase sales and donations.

Empower, lead, and manage store staff; ensuring safety, productivity, and success.

Performs all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities

Maintain a strong knowledge of the Point-Of-Sale System.

Supports the Store Manager in interviews, hiring, and completing the onboarding process for all new hires.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
