Worship Arts Jobs in Michigan

Skills/Knowledge: Enjoys working with children. Good verbal communication skills.

Manage the transitions of chapel time - with music, conversation, prayer etc.

Education/Training: Graduation from high school.

Be at Chapel during the times of 8:05-8:40am and 8:45-9:25am

Assist with Set up/check mics, sound, instruments, 7:15, Tuesday

Work in conjunction with Elementary Christian Ministries Coordinator to select songs each week.

COMMON GROUND WORSHIP LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for planning & leading church-wide worship services.

Lead the congregation, and worship team in corporate worship majority of the Sundays throughout the year.

Ensure sound doctrine is maintained in all music used within the church.

Oversee & assist the planning of worship done by other leaders & teams.

Ensure that other technical aspects of the services in order to maintain a distraction-free worship environment.

1+ years of experience as an artist

Serve as a mentor for students across the university who pursue hands-on artistic creation through the Student Creative Fellowship (fall 2023);

Develop workshops in your area of practice for community or student stakeholders;

Form a community of practice that may grow to include other artistic practitioners across campus.
