Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Carry out Workshop Technician responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including Gage InSite, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Explorer, Internet usage and connection.

Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and safety procedures.

Knowledge of computer hardware and software required for work performance, including MS Word, Internet usage and connection.

Good communication skills in speaking

Working knowledge of Bandit Lites touring equipment

Report to Project Manager / Client Rep for duties as needed

Good verbal and written skills

Quality level of interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively manage and guide touring and local labor

Understand, abide and instill the philosophy, policies and procedures of Bandit Lites

Qualifications / Skills Sets / Expectations:

Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.

High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience.

Any other relevant certifications (ex. Lift / Ariel Training)

Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic lighting components.

Installing and mounting lighting controls, devices, sensors, and components.

Qualifications / Skills Sets / Expectations:

Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.

High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related experience.

Any other relevant certifications (ex. Lift / Ariel Training)

Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic lighting components.

Installing and mounting lighting controls, devices, sensors, and components.

Have 1+ year of experience working in a workshop assembly or repair environment.

Have the ability to work mechanical machinery with experience using mechanical tools.

Additional elected or voluntary benefits

TV Production Certificate from a recognized Technical College or 5 years’ experience in the field

Working knowledge of television station production operation equipment.

Working knowledge of lighting teleprompter and studio cameras.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Project material inventory and stock management.

The Lighting Technician will report directly to the project manager assigned to the project.

High school education or graduate from an accredited electrical apprenticeship program, apprentice electrician or electrician trainee, non residential lighting technician.

Electrical construction experience, lighting retrofit experience, lighting maintenance experience.

Preferred—experience working in the lighting industry.

Prior M&A, capital raising or investment banking experience is preferred, but not required

Fluent in accounting and finance and strong business acumen

Strong verbal and written communication skills

First-year MBA students beginning their MBA program in Fall 2023

Available for a 2024 summer associate internship at Lincoln

Interested in working in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Dallas for the duration of the internship

Ensure that all required accessories to operate the equipment are included (ex.: wiring, adapter, PSU, gelatin, bracket, remote control, etc.).

Technical Theater Degree or other relevant domain, or the equivalent in field experience

Less than one year of experience in an audiovisual equipment workshop or in the Live Events industry.

Strong knowledge of the Live Events and/or rental industry in the entertainment and corporate environment a plus.

Knowledge of the R2 inventory software (an asset)

Good knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Delivers serviced signs and equipment

Drives YESCO sign and equipment service vehicles to service customer locations

Restocks and maintains parts and inventory of YESCO sign and equipment service vehicle

Safely operates lift equipment to perform sign service assessment and repair

Installs new or modified equipment at customer's facility to ensure full functionality

Reviews service reports, work orders, and documentation

Outstanding interpersonal communication and conflict management skills.

1-3 years of lighting design experience, preferably in an event setting.

Detailed knowledge of electricity, lighting and related technical equipment required.

Adept skill in operating lighting and electrical equipment.

Knowledge of event venues a plus.

Good knowledge of electrical theory, be able to read and follow electrical and system drawings and diagrams

Good knowledge of intelligent moving fixtures operation, maintenance and repair procedures

Good knowledge of lighting console operation (GrandMa, GrandMa2, ETC)

Good knowledge and understanding of show control and time code distribution

Basic knowledge of lighting design and programming

Basic knowledge in PC hardware & software maintenance and repair

2 years experience in lighting hang/focus/strike

Preferred experience in Q-Lab programming and operation

Skills in other technical areas outside of video are valued

Experience in theatrical rigging systems operation

Lighting console programming (ETC GIO)

Part-time, project based, Non-exempt, $23 hourly.
