Workday Hcm Functional Analyst Jobs

4+ years of progressive experience within Workday HCM, with specialization in one or more functional areas. Functional specialization can vary.

Broad range of experience in process analysis, systems analysis, technical analysis, systems implementation and operations.

Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, and Locations).

Deliver knowledge transfer and change management of configuration modifications.

Participate in documenting design strategies, technical business requirements and road maps for Nordic’s HR systems

Configure and support existing Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning and Advanced Compensation)

Leverage experience and suggest best practices and lessons learned when rolling out new functionality

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

5 to 7 years’ experience with Workday HCM

Broad range of experience in process analysis, systems analysis, technical analysis, systems implementation and operations.

Capable at creating/loading and validating EIBs or using other Mass Operation type of Workday Administrator Tasks

Capable at building calculated fields and custom reports

Project management skills from concept to implementation.

Knowledge of the life cycle of application environments.

Critical thinking and analytical skills to identify trends and patterns, resolve issues or recommend innovative solutions.

Organization skills and attention to details.

Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the role’s duties and responsibilities.

Understanding of HCM/Recruitment cross-functional impacts and/or inter-dependencies within same system/application and with other software/applications.

Provide consultation to the Services team leadership, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis

Management of both small and large scale projects that pertain to the Workday environment – including necessary training and comms.

Align with colleagues throughout the business to develop best in class HRIS solutions to serve the business needs.

Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use Workday

Configure, test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday

Assist in testing of integrations, security, annual events

3+ years' experience of Workday configuration in modules such as HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Learning, Performance Management, Recruiting, and Compensation (required)

THIRD PARTY MANAGEMENT: Participates on vendor calls and meetings as necessary.

RISK MANAGEMENT: Documents standard operation procedures (SOPs).

CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Works with Communications and Learning teams to develop tools and resources to support change management.

CONFIGURATION: Responsible for new configuration of business requirements and revision of more complex configuration.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required)

Provide project management and support for new systems implementations, systems upgrades, annual system updates, and system enhancements.

Configure and support existing Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, Payroll, Recruiting, Learning) and add new functionality as necessary

3 - 5 years of Workday configuration experience (preferred)

Consult with customers to conduct analysis on business processes to help identify needs and facilitate finding solutions to those needs.

Proactively identify customer strength and weaknesses and suggest areas of business process improvement.

Propose solutions to problems and consider timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing customer needs.
