Winery Associate Jobs

Responsible for performing daily operational responsibilities, including opening and closing duties

Answers all incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally, addressing all inquiries; escalates to manager if guest needs additional assistance

Assists managers, teams, and guests during emergency responses

Recommends property experiences, including dining, tastings, pool, and events to guests

Works on special projects, events, and experiences

6+ months related experience preferred

Knowledge of and experience in winery marketing and hospitality

Strong wine social media experience/expertise

gathering tools and processes via:

Hospitality (QR code, signup sheet, business card, iPad app)

Website/Newsletter (online signup using appropriate fields, existing data)

Social media (repost winery content, get them to post encouraging followers to join the list)

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness, Food and Resource Economics, Business, Finance or related field.

Winery and/or vineyard financing experience a plus.

Computer proficiency with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.

Proven ability to develop, cultivate, and manage high quality relationships with existing and potential clients

Willingness and ability to quickly learn the key success factors to manage additional business functions, including winemaking, viticulture, HR, finance, etc.

5-10 of executive experience in DTC-driven wineries with P&L responsibility. Previous full-functional GM experience a plus

Self-driven leader experienced in building/leading effective hospitality and sales teams that can attract and retain loyal return customers

Experience developing and executing wine product and brand marketing plans

Strategic planning and business development experience

Strong written and verbal and presentation skills

Offer any other support and assistance as determined by the Manager or Supervisor.

Provides an exceptional guest service experience for each guest.

Offers assistance as needed to guests with locating merchandise.

Offers assistance to guests as needed with transportation and loading of large items to their vehicle.

Assist with daily opening and closing responsibilities as needed.

Previous retail, inventory and/or customer service experience strongly preferred.

Host groups and provide memorable and positive tasting experiences.

1-2+ years of hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.

Minimum of two years of relevant work experience within the wine industry.

Educate our guests on our unique history and share our story.

Sell our wines in a direct to consumer environment.

Encourage guests to join our Wine Club.

Strong computer skills; previous POS experience is preferred.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all current health and safety requirements.

1-2+ years of hospitality experience is preferred, but not required.

Recruit cool new members to our Wine Club, slang wine, tell stories and blow customers’ minds.

Make every tasting special and never phone it in (except with this next part).

Pick up the telephone to sell wine, book reservations, and provide amazing customer service to our club members and prospective customers.

Strong computer skills; previous POS experience is preferred.

Perform quality line checks against quality requirements and records data through-out production

Pull finished product samples at defined intervals and evaluates against quality requirements including laboratory analysis and packaging inspections.

Basic writing and mathematical skills

0-2 Years' packaging or quality experience
