Window And Gutter Cleaning Apprentice Jobs

You have 2 plus years of experience in gutter installation and repair

You have knowledge of different types of gutters and installation techniques

You have kept the internal teams up-to-date and completed your administrative work on time.

You have become an expert with installation of new gutters on residential and commercial properties

You have shown that you can remove old gutters and dispose of them properly

You have shown that you can work with clients to assess their needs and provide recommendations for the best gutter solutions

Reliable truck, van or SUV

Functioning tools to include drills, speed square, miter saw, etc.

Multi-height and adjustable ladders (24’, 26’ adjustable, and 32’ feet in height)

5” or 6” GUTTER MACHINE. Combo machine is a plus!

YOU MUST CURRENTLY HAVE OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN YOUR OWN GUTTER MACHINE

IN ORDER TO QUALIFY YOU MUST OR WILLING TO OBTAIN THE FOLLOWING:

Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.

Complete vehicle safety, job site inspections.

Safely unload and stage material at job site.

Apprenticeship or certification from a technical school may be required.

Experience working on roofs and handling power tools would be advantageous.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Inspecting sites and removing hazardous items.

Preparing time and material cost estimates.

Using a spirit level to ensure accuracy.

You will need a drivers license

Eligible for $1 - $5/hr bonuses after 1 week

Eligible for raise after 30 days

Eligible for insurance (health, dental, vision, life & disability) after 2 months

Previous experience in exterior building cleaning or related field.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Cleaning the exterior walls, windows, and roofs of residential and commercial buildings.

Using high-pressure washers, and other specialized equipment to clean buildings.

Identifying and reporting any damages or potential hazards.

Experience in the construction industry, including roofing, siding preferred

Cuts gutter material to the size required

Able to hang 5 and 6 aluminum gutters

Attaches gutter materials by installing hangers

Maintain good housekeeping on job site

Observe job site safety rules and know the location of MSDS packets in your vehicle

This job is full-time and we offer 3-day weekends all spring, summer, and fall.

Every day starts at 7:45 am from our office in Ventura.

We carry and climb ladders up to 50 lbs in weight.

We focus on safety, first.

Starting pay is $19-20/ hour with plenty of room for growth.

One year of window cleaning experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate

We pay on the 15th and last day of each month

Paid training at $17/hr then can move to commission pay so you can earn more money (Typically between $23-$30)
