Warehouse Receiving Supervisor Jobs

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system. Matches packing list information to actual packed merchandise. Prepares packages/merchandise for storage.

Record receiving data using computer.

Pack, unpack, and mark stock items, using identification tag, stamp, or electronic marking tool or other labeling equipment

Identify incorrect/short shipped items and immediately notify supervisor.

Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area. May operate forklift or other machinery in order to complete tasks.

Have computer knowledge to include experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Be able to successfully pass education/experience verification.

Pay: 50K-60K annually depending on experience

Supervise and manage daily work of department teammates.

Provide training as needed to maintain an efficient and knowledgeable workforce.

Inspects products for damages and reports issues to management.

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Ability to understand written material.

Loads and unloads materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.

Fills customer orders using a pick list and prepares orders for shipment according to company standards.

Obtains merchandise from shelves or bins and verifies product and quantity accuracy.

Microsoft Office and materials management systems.

Conducts team/department meetings to ensure continual education and awareness on department issues.

Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.

Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.

Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.

Prior experience in Tribal Gaming preferred.

Management experience in a union environment preferred

1-3 years experience in warehousing required; previous supervisory experience preferred

Possess excellent judgment and decision making skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Possess strong PC skills in Word and Excel

Direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all union employees

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Manage and coordinate daily receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming products, including unloading, and sorting of deliveries.

Experience operating equipment (Stand-Up Forklift and/or Order (Cherry) Picker) is a plus.

High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.

3 years of warehouse, plumbing, and/or HVAC experience.

1-2 years of Warehouse Lead / Supervisor. experience

Notify Receiving Supervisor or Warehouse Manager of possible delivery issues.

Ability to perform basic math skills.

Prepare journalist reservations and itineraries in coordination with the VIP Services team, restaurant General Managers, spa and Recreations team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum 2 years Public Relations/Marketing/Communications experience.

Review Daily Delivery log of vendors and POs.

Ensure acceptable levels of profitability in assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management

Demonstrated leadership skills to influence department and implement and manage change

Manage approximately 15-20 associates in a fast paced distribution environment

Demonstrated experience in a leadership role

Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; possess solid judgment, problem-solving and decision making skills

Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and set priorities

Strong time management skills, with ability to manage various projects

Manage eCommerce order fulfillment while achieving established service levels

Work directly with our Customer Support and Account Manager teams to ensure client deliverables are met

5+ years’ experience leading an operations team in a warehouse environment

Ability to hire, coach, train, and manage a team of 10 to 50 employees

Detail Oriented, Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills

Demonstrated management and conflict resolution skills.

Maintain customer compliance requirements for accuracy and processing times.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate others.

Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Intermediate Excel experience and the ability to generate reports.

Facilitate the flow of information to Executive Chef and Culinary management team by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings

Maintain a thorough, working knowledge of dry goods, paper products, chemical supplies, and food and beverage specifications

Prior warehouse and receiving experience required

Prior food & beverage receiving experience strongly preferred

Proven experience providing high level of guest service

Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned

Experience. 6 months of previous experience in the building material industry. (Preferred)
