Consult with and educate the patient/family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, end-of-life care, and ethical concerns

Communicate with the medical director and other clinicians regarding changes in patient needs and outcomes of intervention

Provide age appropriate medical and dental education and guidance and assistance to children including skill-building around activities of daily living

Manage health issues of the children, including medication administration, noting medical orders, and promoting general and overall health

Assist in maintaining an orderly office; restock supplies; proactively inform Nurse Manager when supplies need to be ordered

Prepare for weekly supervision and weekly nurse team meeting, bringing new evidence-based knowledge, informed questions, and concerns to the team

Respect each child as in individual and provide care that promotes each child’s dignity and positive self-worth

Monitoring vital signs when appropriate and observing for adverse reactions to newly prescribed and ongoing psychiatric medications

2 years plus experience in a clinic or hospital.

Excellent knowledge of therapeutic and surgical treatments for the lower extremities.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly.

Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases.

Treat foot and leg injuries, like fractures, feet corn and calluses.

Refer foot and ankle surgeries where necessary.
