Virtual Mental Health Therapist Jobs in California

Provides direct client services, including facilitation of psychoeducational groups and case management for group participants.

Strong computer skills including experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office software.

Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA requirements.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:

Knowledge of Afghan culture and ability to create culturally tailored products and services.

Must possess excellent customer service, communication and documentation skills.

Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to adhere to the areas of regulatory compliance, professional standards, and ethical practices

Experience working with individuals, families, or couples

Experience working with a diverse population or demographics

Strong communication, documentation and diagnosing skills

At least 1 year of experience as an independently licensed therapist

Conduct initial and follow-up care via phone and video technology

Monitors patient’s whereabouts at all times, and documents specific targeted behaviors during activities.

Facilitates and ensures patient attendance at activities.

Observes, reports and documents physical complaints.

May be responsible for admitting, transferring and discharging specific patients as assigned.

Orients new patients to the unit.

Provides direct patient care as assigned by licensed staff.

**This position is Part Time Days Non-Benefitted (8-hr)**

Preferred: Prior LPS designation, crisis de-escalation training, manual holds training

Required: Master’s degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, and/or counseling

Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
