Experience / Certifications / Educational / Requirements:

· Personnel Management and Leadership - Teach, mentor and lead area facilities management remotely.

· Knowledge of Energy Management systems and procedures

· Extensive experience with CMMS systems and resource management

· Thorough planner with excellent organizational and time management skills

· Communicate with executive management, regional area management and club operations personnel.

Progressive leadership and management experience in project and team management in the areas of maintenance, building operations, and construction.

Possess a thorough knowledge of strong management, organizational and supervisory principles, techniques, and practices.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration or related field.

Master's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration or related fields.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and Certificate of Project Management/Engineering

Experience managing shops and employees to achieve short-term and long-term goals through both individual and team effort.

Ten years of experience in facilities operations and management. Educational and Research Institution experience preferred.

Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and vulnerabilities within facilities.

Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.

Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and vendor performance management.

In-depth knowledge of facilities management principles, practices, and industry standards.

Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy aligned with UTSA’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
