Vice President Equity Research Jobs in Massachusetts

Requires strong people management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and coach scientists.

Participates in management of external research collaborations.

Manages budgets, hiring plans, R&D strategy, goal setting and prioritization of efforts.

Requires experience with RNA-guided nucleases, gene editing, and gene therapy.

Experience with viral and non-viral delivery of gene therapies is required.

Must hold knowledge of ex vivo cell therapies.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team

Oversee and manage evaluation of mechanism of action studies including: cellular/tissue uptake, sub-cellular trafficking, and target engagement using the EDO molecules

Manage a portfolio of projects and ensure they are executed on time and on budget

At least 10 years of experience in academia, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

Experience managing teams of scientists and leading oligonucleotide drug discovery projects from target identification to clinical development

Strong scientific background and knowledge of the latest scientific and technological developments in the oligonucleotide field

Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the Bank’s Credit Risk Management system
