At least 1 year of mammalian cell culture experience (suspension or adherent) after undergrad.

Demonstrable experience keeping pristine records of experiments and DNA constructs produced using a digital laboratory notebook.

Experience with suspension cell culture.

Candidates with university education in engineering and business, finance or economics an advantage

Experience in molecular biology, medium and feed development, aseptic techniques and bioreactor operation

You have 5-10+ years product management experience preferably at a commodity information, oil/gas, consulting or financial institution.

You can work collaboratively and communicate effectively across different functional groups and excel at stakeholder management.

About the role: Senior Product Manager, Upstream

You have a deep understanding of the upstream industry and understand drilling activities, oil and gas operations and upstream information providers

You have an analytical mindset and can solve problems independently.

Experience with Process Safety Management

Two (2) years or more experience in pharmaceutical industry.

Basic knowledge in computer systems

Attends Good Manufacturing Practices trainings on the designated schedule for the role and as appropriate for the role.

Adheres to strict compliance with procedures applicable to the role and functions.

Proceed with the highest level of integrity in the tasks that are performed.

Learning technical and professional skills

Experience in highly regulated fields beneficial

10+ years in direct personnel and project management roles is necessary.

Prior Strategic Planning, Business / Market Development, and Consulting Services experience is required through a combination of experience and education.

Market the Upstream BU’s offerings to the industry and to potential clients through industry meetings, client-specific meetings, and user group meetings.

Experience in conducting global business within diverse cultures is highly desired.

Develop the annual Business Unit operating plan and achieve the annual financial targets while providing corporate reporting throughout the year.

Experience and in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories in media optimization and nutrients role in fed batch fermentation.

Knowledge of cGMPs and process validation requirements desired.

Experience in scale up and transfer of upstream cell culture process from small-scale to large scale bioreactors.

Experience in leading, engaging, and motivating others within team environments.

Knowledge of bioreactor hardware and controllers in intermediate-to- commercial scale (1L-2000L).

Knowledge of statistical analysis software (JMP).
