University Relations Manager Jobs

Oversees the personnel management and training of all UIC research staff.

Prior experience developing, leading, and/or publishing research.

Prior experience in developing funding proposals for scientific or clinical studies, particularly proposals to the National Institutes of Health.

Prior experience in independently developing regulatory documents.

In good ethical and professional standing sufficient to participate as an investigator on Federally funded research studies.

Provide strategic direction for UIC research operations, including staffing, physical resources, and fiscal responsibility for research projects and initiatives.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, healthcare or business administration preferred but not required.

Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel.

Motivates the team to demonstrate continuous improvement in all areas.

Providing relevant and timely feedback to the operational leaders regarding coding and documentation.

Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors

Knowledge of maintenance requirements for gas turbines, boilers, pumps, motors, or electrical switchgear

Responds to emergency or unanticipated electrical or mechanical maintenance requirements outside work hours

High School Diploma (required) plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.

Minimum Five (5) years of leadership experience leading industrial employees preferred

Must have in-depth knowledge of power generation, power generation equipment and technology

Knowledge and/or experience with Contemporary Women’s Apparel is preferred

Support the customer experience/ journey with quick and efficient service or personal one-on-one attention

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Provide customer-based feedback on assortment opportunities to central merchant organization to maximize sales opportunities

Develop collaborative business partnerships with Central, Merchant and Support teams that drive business performance

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university

Similar experience in administrative management.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management from an accredited institution.

Coordinates and manages key projects.

Five years of progressively responsible administrative experience, including a minimum of two years of supervisory experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Work under time constraints; proven teamwork experience; ability to explain information in an understandable manner; sound judgment and decision-making ability.

Experience and ability to operate within a fast-paced, multi-disciplined virtual team

Superior communication, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field.

Highly developed client service and client satisfaction focus mindset, is a must

Assist in the management of interns and in the development and maintenance of an intern program.

Receive, organize, and communicate to caterer suite menu orders

Perform pre- and post-event inventories of premium areas

Execute a successful recruitment plan for part-time, game-day/event staff to ensure premium seating areas are properly staffed.

Implement training plan and oversee game day/event staff operations.

Design and produce effective communication media, including services guides, menu portfolios, web-based communication, newsletters and other correspondence.

Knowledge and experience with infusing technology into the delivery of mental health services.

Working knowledge of providing supervision to trainees.

Relevant post-degree clinical work experience (typically 1-3 years).

Interest and/or experience in counseling center research.

Knowledge of local mental health providers and systems.

Experience with campus mental health.

Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems

Requires 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience

Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities

Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrates culinary techniques

Requires 2-3 years of experience in a related position

Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession

Knowledge of functional responsibilities of a university Registrar's Office and Division of Enrollment Management

Technology and software management skills, particularly with Microsoft Office software

1 year of experience in Registrar’s or Student Services office including knowledge of university policies and procedures.

Minimum of three years of experience in a professional office setting.

Excellent organizational skills and exposure to expense reporting.

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
