Unit Techs must be able to diagnose and repair a variety of medical equipment, including but not limited to: ventilators, infusion pumps, monitors, and other medical devices. They must also be able to provide technical support to medical staff, including but not limited to: providing training on the use of medical equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical advice. Job Skills Required Unit Techs must have a strong technical background, with knowledge of a variety of medical equipment and systems. They must also have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as strong communication and customer service skills. Job Qualifications Unit Techs must have a high school diploma or equivalent. They must also have experience with medical equipment and systems, as well as experience providing technical support. Job Knowledge Unit Techs must have a strong knowledge of medical equipment and systems, as well as a strong understanding of medical terminology. They must also have a strong understanding of customer service and communication. Job Experience Unit Techs must have at least two years of experience working with medical equipment and systems.
