Extensive hand shoveling/digging around ground line of timber bridges using D-handle spade/shovel, sharpshooter/shovel, crowbar and pry bar

Apply wood preservative treatments and install plugs with hammer

Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.

Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage

Ability to communicate professional and accurately

Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms.

Provide prompt, friendly and courteous service to guests.

Have a full working knowledge of the menu, specials, beverage and wine lists; up sell and suggestive selling.

2 years minimum of related experience in full service Hotel.

Preferred previous food service experience to include: 4 diamond hotel room service, fine dining, wine service, and table side service.

Good customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively with others in English;

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other Duties May Be Assigned)

Follows the correct sequence of room service set up at all times.

Have a full working knowledge of the menu, specials, beverage and wine lists; up sell and suggestive selling.

2 years minimum of related experience in full service Hotel.

Preferred previous food service experience to include: 4 diamond hotel room service, fine dining, wine service, and table side service.

Good customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively with others in English;

Follows the correct sequence of room service set up at all times.

Maintains condiments, carts, hot boxes and all F&B room service supplies during shift.

Use title management system to keep records accurate and up to date

Cultivate and maintain a broad network of contacts among academics, professionals, and knowledgeable amateurs within the nature category

Minimum four years of editorial experience, with experience specifically with illustrated books

Superior writing and editing skills

Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Excellent content knowledge in subject areas

2-5 years high volume experience in restaurant operations

Point of Sales knowledge, preferably MICROS

Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent

Have knowledge of all music, promotional or special events in the house

Transportation in order to retrieve anything the artist may require that we do not carry on site

COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.

Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course and both non and alcoholic beverages

Knowledgeable of standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, and coolers, slicers and beverage machines

Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations

Knowledgeable of computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems

Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately

Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
