Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and correct conduct and performance of adults and children

Able to manage and give priority to multiple tasks. Exhibits creativity and innovativeness working in a fast-paced environment.

Implements course curriculum, and assists with its development

Works with teaching assistant to create lesson plans in accordance with course curriculum

Requests supplies from Site Supervisor well in advance of class sessions

Leads classes with school-age children

A brief (c. 250 word) description of an experience you had as a student or teacher that has influenced your teaching

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a continued interest in the ongoing work in their field

A letter of interest (including research interests)

Prior teaching experience at the higher education level preferred

Experience in civic engagement, advocacy and education, and specifically in Boal’s Theater of the Oppressed

MFA, PhD, or significant professional experience

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Professional work in theater, film and TV.

$1,160 – $1,610 per credit
