Conducts protocol management for an assigned set of multiple research protocols.

Performs data management and data analyses, as required by the research study.

Identifies and communicates important protocol and data management issues or problem areas to supervisor.

Shelve books, periodicals, and other library materials

Assist professional staff with designated library programs, displays, and community outreach/promotions

Provides excellent customer service to customers & the general public

Interviews will be held the week of August 21st

will work 16 weeks with the possibility of an extension.

May implement and coordinate department-wide initiatives such as research quality management or clinical trial recruitment efforts.

Participates in required training and education programs.

Provides clinical research expertise by participating in the design and implementation of research projects as needed by the department or institution.

Responsible for specific and assigned aspects of research infrastructure development and/or maintenance.

Coordinates research projects at an institutional or departmental level.

Communicates project status and improvement areas with leadership in a timely manner.

High level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel and SPSS for data management and basic analyses

B.A./B.S. degree in education, psychology, or related field

Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail

Demonstrated experience cleaning and managing data files

Skillful use of Microsoft Office suite and online tools, such as Smartsheet and Box

Experience working as a team member in a professional setting

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in researching information and analyzing data to arrive at valid conclusions.

No professional experience required with relevant Bachelor’s degree or above.

1 or more years of experience as a lab technician, research assistant, or equivalent.

Theoretical and hands on knowledge of tissue culture and molecular biology techniques.

Skill in the operation and maintenance of various lab equipment.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Experience working in a laboratory setting is highly desirable, but not essential.

Virus and/or protein purification experience using FPLC and/or HPLC chromatography is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Openness and willingness to learn new skills and/or laboratory techniques is a must.

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Perform standard AAV purifications and purified material characterization following established protocols.
