Qualifications-Regional Sustainability And Mechanical Integrity Engineer

Applying engineering principles to analyze energy systems while looking for ways to reduce energy usage and increase energy efficiency.

Conducting periodic energy assessments at higher energy usage facilities to identify opportunities to drive energy efficiency.

Researching and evaluating new energy efficiency technologies and solutions that promote sustainability, such as renewable energy systems and energy efficiency technologies.

· Must have strong analytics capabilities and problem-solving skills.

· Direct experience with Environmental type qualification testing of systems (DO-160G / MIL-STD) is strongly desired.

· AA, bachelor’s in electronic engineering (B. A. EE), or equivalent work experience.

· 5-10 years of relevant on-the-job experience.

· Must be able to react well to pressure and manage multiple high priorities in parallel.

· Excellent Electronics troubleshooting skills.

Maintain training materials for communicating about various legislations to different departments: sales, engineering, supply chain, product management

Maintain current knowledge of material legislations and closely monitor any possible changes, subject matter expert

At least 5 years in a technical role with progressive experience managing a team

Experience with material compliance and legislations

o Conducting risk assessment and action plan for un-responsive suppliers, including coordination with Commodity Managers

· Strong and articulate oral and written communication skills

Experience initiating and closing sales of large $ volume at high organizational levels – C-suite or equivalent with public sector clients

Identifying and building new client relationships with research and community outreach

Creating lead generation campaigns to prospect and build new business

Calling on executive-level prospects and present to C-Suite clients

Leading the development of strategic and tactical plans for moving prospects to clients.

Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Manage Vitesco Technologies in-house “Green Plant Label” projects and certifications.

Ability to define, track, and report success metrics across the organization, including top-level management.

3+ years of experience in Environmental & Sustainability practices or relevant job positions.

Working knowledge of federal, state, local laws and regulations, entitlements and permitting process.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and customer service skills.

·Relevant energy experience as professional engineer PE, architect or certification BEAP, BEMP, AEE, CEM, CEA, or ICP.

·Have 6 or more years of relevant work experience with a strong track record

·Building or engineering experience, including identification, analysis and selection of appropriate integrated strategies for sustainability and resiliency;

Minimum requires LEED certification AP BD+C, ID+C,

Oversee the annual ESG Data Collection Process including transitioning to and management of new systems and tools

Manage [email protected] inbox, MS Teams Channel and other communications tools

Finalize environmental data for annual Sustainability Report including the Metrics-at-a-Glance, GRI, SASB and EU CSRD Indices

Lead the annual completion of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Report

Coordinate ongoing responses to Customers, Investors, and ESG Ratings Firm surveys and inquiries

Support the creation and implementation of Supplier Engagement efforts aligned with the Purchased Goods and Services science-based target (SBT)

Take action and provide recommendations to the Dometic management team on continuous improvements regarding the sustainability

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and assess sustainability compliance requirements related to our operations;

Develop and maintain procedures to ensure that applicable requirements are well implemented and followed throughout the organization;

At least 5 years of experience with an international industry or governmental institution;

Good knowledge in and passion for sustainability matters;

One to three years of experience in the implementation of environmental compliance and sustainability projects.

Knowledge of the principles of environmental protection and environmental sustainability.

Strong interpersonal skills to resolve challenges and conflicts, as necessary.

Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Demonstrated experience with oral presentation and writing memos, briefs and policy papers and power point presentations.

Experience in the aviation sector.

Support in Environmental Management System tasks: operational control, Awareness-raising on environmental issues, Data collection for environmental KPI calculation.

Academic background: Bachelor degree in environmental sciences (CCAA) and Master’s degree in Environmental Management System ISO 14001

Develop specific sustainability reports from PLM to meet stakeholder sustainability information requirements.

Previous experience in similar internship/position: 1 year

Computer skills: high level in Excel, Power Query or Power BI (or similar systems)

Improve the existing Excel dashboard to report on environmental KPIs (Power BI)
