It Support Specialist Junior Jobs in Florida

Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) principles and tools.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar technical support role.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems (Windows and MacOS).

Experience with supporting Windows 10/11.

On-the-job Training, Skills Development & Certifications

Maintain Windows Workstations, build, troubleshoot, configure and manage.

Manage hardware and software inventory.

One year of Help Desk Technician or other IT Customer Support experience required.

Maintain user accounts and groups in Active Directory.

Administer and troubleshoot VPN Client.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

Facilitate software and hardware lifecycle management process.

Microsoft Teams and End Point Manager preferred, but not required.

Help Desk Support - 50%

Technology Deployment and Inventory Maintenance - 15%

First level support for end-user issues.

Mobile device experience working for a Wireless company.

Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware.

Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment.

Understand the importance of asset inventory and how to maintain an organized inventory.

Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.

Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
