Sr Dir Supply Planning Jobs in California

Training / certification in materials management, inventory / production control, or supply chain (e.g., APICS) is preferred

Previous managerial / functional management experience also required

Develops, executes, and owns the supplier management process including relevant scorecards, to ensure appropriate controls, oversight and monitoring are in place

Expert knowledge of all supply chain processes (demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning) and hands-on experience running S&OP

Master's degree in engineering, scientific, or supply chain related discipline and 6+ years of experience as noted above

Applies in-depth expertise in discipline and broad knowledge of other closely related areas to improve efficiency of the supply planning team

Quantify in-season risks and opportunities by making the appropriate recommendations to merchant teams and management to drive results and increase profit

Minimum of 10 years of apparel planning experience, preferably in e-commerce

Proficient in Microsoft Office – advanced knowledge of Excel

Lead the planning team, including forecasting, OTB, promotional planning, category / SKU level analysis / AUR / AUC analyses

Develop and execute strategy for annual, seasonal and monthly merchandise plans for JustFab & ShoeDazzle in collaboration with the merchandising team

Communicate monthly Open-to-Buy forecasts & supporting action plans as well as presentation of this data to Executive and Cross Functional teams

Direct experience and working knowledge in demand/ supply planning, S&OP, site scheduling, warehouse, and/or materials planning/procurement.

Direct experience and working knowledge in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, cell therapy preferred.

Knowledgeable with cGxP as well as regulatory regulations and compliance requirements for cell therapy and pharmaceutical industry.

Provides direction to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance.

Develop and manage raw materials forecasts to share with key suppliers.

Manage clinical enrollment assumptions with Clinical Operations, consolidate demand plans, and align with Tech Ops capacity and scheduling assumptions.

When applicable, perform g/l analysis and work with vendor management team and business to prepare monthly journal entries for Accounting.

Guide and influence finance workstreams to develop and deliver detailed analysis of financial impact

Liaison between global division and global/regional CP&A, Accounting, and Finance teams

Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

Knowledge/understanding of accounting and financial statements

Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience
