Supply Logistics Supervisor Jobs

Managing budgets and preparing financial reports for senior management

Assisting with Project Management by creating assignments, tracking progress, and resolving issues.

Manage and maintain department payroll and timecard

Assist in managing data and analytical reporting requirement when needed.

Assisting with training and knowledge transfer to new employees

Manage to service levels that meet customer and operational needs while achieving department goals and objectives

Four (4) years of logistics experience

Lean manufacturing experience is preferred

Maintain good housekeeping and material identification and organization in his/her area

Set acceptable standards of performance for his/her employees and ensures through training, direction, and discipline that these standards are met

Check all transactions in area to minimize errors and to ensure inventory balance integrity while making material balance adjustments, if needed

Ensure that parts have been allocated correctly in area and that conveyor and flow racks are organized and identified properly

Profound experience in laboratory logistics and/or clinical supply chain management or related field within the biopharmaceutical industry (MANDATORY)

Manages and supervises Logistics team Including the Product Assessment, warehouse, quality, shipping and receiving Specialists

Provides direct support to manufacturing operations through managing incoming requirements and scheduling of production work orders

Foster cross-department collaboration by working closely with supervisors, managers, etc.

Assist manager by making recommendations in identifying, recruiting and developing talents, securing succession plans in collaboration with manager.

Strong analytical, organizational and basic math skills.

Daily operational management of a team of up to 15+ logistics technicians

Knowledge and certification in HAZMAT regulation

Proficient with computers, the ability to use MS Office, shop floor management software (ERP) and related programs

Manage shipping requests, distribute tasks and provide support to Hawthorne, Launch Site and Test Facility needs

Experience monitoring, tracking and continually improving total transportation costs

1+ years working with DOT/CFR regulations and development experience

Able to maintain CPR certification.

Knowledge of office equipment (i.e., computer, copier, fax and scanner).

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.

4 year college degree in business, engineering, or materials management or equivalent experience required

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.

2 - 4 years related functional experience

Assist with efficiency projects to ensure best practices with shipping and inventory management

Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Work closely with manager to help reach team goals

3-5 years of experience in similar role

2-3 years minimum Supervisor/Team-lead experience

Medical device training/clinical experience is an asset

Must have knowledge of inventory management and point of use inventory systems.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

At least five years of managerial or supervisory experience required.

Three years of experience related to logistics and supply chain experience required.

Hospital logistics and supply chain experience preferred.

Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills required.
