Overview A Supply Chain Demand Analyst is responsible for analyzing and forecasting customer demand for products and services. They use data from sales, marketing, and customer service teams to develop accurate forecasts and ensure that the supply chain is able to meet customer needs. Detailed Job Description The Supply Chain Demand Analyst is responsible for analyzing customer demand for products and services and developing accurate forecasts. They use data from sales, marketing, and customer service teams to develop forecasts and ensure that the supply chain is able to meet customer needs. The analyst will also work with the supply chain team to develop strategies to optimize inventory levels and ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time. Job Skills Required• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles
• Ability to interpret data and develop accurate forecasts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of ERP systems
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a supply chain or demand planning role
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or APICS certification is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles
• Understanding of forecasting techniques and methods
• Knowledge of ERP systems and software
• Understanding of inventory management principles
• Knowledge of customer service principles
Job Experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a supply chain or demand planning role
• Experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies
Job Responsibilities
• Analyze customer demand for products and services
• Develop accurate forecasts based on data from sales, marketing, and customer service teams
• Work with the supply chain team to develop strategies to optimize inventory levels
• Monitor customer orders and ensure that they are fulfilled on time
• Analyze customer feedback and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction
• Monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement
