Supplier Quality Director Jobs in Florida

10 + years of manufacturing engineering and/or project engineering experience

5+ years of experience leading manufacturing and/or engineering teams

Natural leadership skills; “edge” and gravitas; ability to influence and create followership.

Lead the development, modification, and maintenance of processes for supplier qualification & certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution.

Act as an internal consultant for root cause analysis & problem-solving (Red-X & 8D) in escape management procedures.

Bachelor’s Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business

5 years plus of strategic experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, or Supply Chain Sourcing

5 years plus experience in Supply Chain/Sourcing in Supplier facing activities

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

Supplier compliance to Operational and EDI requirements - quantity and quality metrics

3+ years of Distribution/Operations/Manufacturing experience required

Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Complete detailed documentation of inbound supplier receiving audits
